Liane Brust MHC-LP
Liane utilizes an integrative approach to support adolescents and adults, focusing on person-centered, psychodynamic, and strengths-based therapies. She treats anxiety and depressive disorders, particularly when related to challenges in relationships, boundary setting, and struggles with self-worth. She is acutely attuned to the importance of mind-body expressions of distress and uses her expertise as a yoga instructor and her study of mind-body theories to inform assessments and treatment.
Liane is skilled in the treatment of developmental trauma, and believes a strong, safe therapeutic relationship is essential to this work. She seeks to establish trust through cultural humility, responsiveness, compassion, and dependability.
Liane has been working at an active private practice in Long Island, treating a diverse population of clients. She holds an MA in Mental Health Counseling and Wellness from New York University.
